(AUSTIN, TX) — Award-winning Austin-based singer/songwriter and guitarist, Ryan DeSiato, releases his latest single, ‘Ain’t No Grave,’ Friday, August 27, 2021.

Inspired by the spirit of Johnny Cash’s version of the classic hymn, Ryan decided to create and record his take. In doing so, he breathed new life into it, lending a smooth, soulful, and edgy sound that’s all his own.

Denise Pischinger, public relations representative, describes ‘Ain’t No Grave’ as “a soulful instrumental experience that gives listeners all the feels.” She adds, “Ryan’s gritty resolve transitions to a feeling of joy that pierces the soul.”

By researching and studying music engineering, Ryan was able to compose and record the hymn on his own by tracking all the guitars and vocals in the basement of ACTS Church Lakeway, where he has served on the music production team since 2014. The final production was applied by Austin-based producer Lang Freeman.

In addition to its availability online through live music streaming platforms, fans can download ‘Ain’t No Grave’ Friday on Ryan’s music website, www.ryandesiato.com. Ryan writes and performs a mix of rock, gospel-folk, blues ballads, soul music, and psychedelic flamenco guitar. With more than sixteen years as a professional in the music industry, Ryan’s path to success was not always smooth.

“Of all the self-imposed impediments, pride was for me the most destructive,” according to Ryan. “It takes courage to put ourselves out into the world and, in my life, I held myself back because of my pride. But I believe you can’t become a master until you’ve been the fool.”

His trials eventually led Ryan to create a self-described “new incarnation of music that is a reflection of myself – disciplined, focused and more at peace.” This new incarnation has resulted in a prolific discography featuring dozens of original and classic songs full of grit, soul, and quiet confidence that could only come from the vulnerability of a man who has truly lived, learned, and grown.

Ryan’s new chapter is just beginning. Next in the queue...a stunning rearrangement of ‘Amazing Grace,’ originating when he was asked to play at his grandmother’s memorial service. His heartfelt version evolved and, like ‘Ain’t No Grave,’ Ryan perfected and then recorded the hymn in his church’s basement. ‘Amazing Grace’ will be released later in 2021.
