Ryan DeSiato Music

Ryan DeSiato is an Austin-based singer-songwriter whose music lives somewhere between acoustic blues, roots, and rock. His songs are built around soulful guitar playing, honest lyrics, and the stories that come from a life spent chasing music.

Ryan first picked up the guitar at 15, teaching himself to play along with Nirvana’s Unplugged album in his mom’s garage. What began as a teenager discovering a way to express himself became a lifelong connection to songwriting and performing. Over the years, music has taken Ryan through different seasons—from playing in bands and performing throughout Austin to creating a catalog of more than 200 original songs.

At 19, Ryan recorded his first solo album, I AM, in a single live session, capturing the raw and personal approach that continues to define his music today. Since then, he has released multiple independent records, including EP 2004, Double Edged, and All Good Things, while continuing to evolve as a songwriter and performer.

Like any meaningful journey, Ryan’s path with music has included seasons of change, challenges, and rediscovery. After stepping away from the spotlight for a time, he found his way back to songwriting with a deeper perspective and a renewed appreciation for the role music plays in his life. That perspective can be heard throughout All Good Things, a record that represents both a return and a new beginning.

In addition to his own recordings, Ryan has created music for film, art installations, and visual media, including work featured at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin. His growing catalog of original music is also being developed for sync licensing opportunities in film, television, and other visual media.

Today, Ryan continues performing live throughout Texas while writing and recording new music. Whether playing an intimate acoustic set or creating music for a larger story, his goal remains the same: to write songs that are honest, memorable, and meaningful.
